FieldComm Group is a member driven, non-profit global standards organization focused on advancing industrial automation through open and interoperable communication technologies. Established in 2015, FieldComm Group brings together a global community of end users, manufacturers, service providers, academic institutions, and research organizations to support the evolution of industrial communication, device integration, and enterprise connectivity across process, hybrid, and discrete manufacturing industries. Through the governance and promotion of technologies such as HART, WirelessHART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, FDI, FDT/DTM, PA-DIM, and Ethernet-APL, FieldComm Group enables standardized, reliable, and secure communication across industrial automation systems.

Our Offerings
We are building and strengthening our capabilities in EDDL, FDT, and FDI technologies, supported by ongoing knowledge development and alignment with industry standards. Our focus includes understanding and contributing to areas such as FDT/FDI specifications and OPC UA Companion Specifications for device and protocol integration, along with developing technical content such as white papers and publications related to industrial communication technologies.
As part of our growing offerings, we are developing capabilities across key industrial communication protocols including HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and Ethernet-APL. Our scope includes protocol integration services, gateway and edge/IIoT platform integration, compliance and certification support, and cybersecurity considerations for industrial protocols. These efforts reflect our commitment to delivering secure, interoperable, and standards-aligned industrial communication solutions as our expertise continues to evolve.
